Over in Asia owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 and GT-i9305
will be among the first to get hold of the Jelly Bean 4.3 update. The
rollout is said to start during the last week of October and Android SaS
said that the firmware will come with an Easter egg and they revealed
it.
The update brings with it a host of changes which include Bluetooth
Smart, OpenGL ES 3.0 and improvements for the text input on the
keyboard. It was said that it will be 100MB when it’s on the handset.
Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 have been waiting for a long time but
the wait will be well worth it. Samsung are said to be testing the
final build as they will not want any issues and they will want to offer
people a lag free experience.
TouchWiz integration has been one of the main issues to overcome and
Samsung said that some of the features of the flagship handset have been
conveyed to the Samsung Galaxy S3. You can expect the following changes
with the update:

2. New applications from Galaxy S4
3. Updated exclusive Samsung apps included
4. Samsung Knox Security feature
5. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean goodies

Samsung Galaxy S4 Features include:

- Smart Pause
- Smart Scroll
It has been said that the release will be pushed out during the last
week of October to owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Asia will be the
first place to receive the update. The update will then be pushed out to
Europe and the US.
It will be available through OTA with Wi-Fi and Kies.
